Raidable Boats
Raidable Boats bring the raid-base experience to the ocean. NPC-crewed vessels spawn at sea and show up on your in-game map (G) - find one, board it, fight off the crew, and loot whatever is on board. Think of them as floating raid bases with their own tiers and rewards.
Finding a raidable boat
Boats appear on the map like other raid content - look for the distinctive icon over open water. You can get to them by water (rowboat, RHIB, tugboat) or by air (minicopter, scrap heli). They despawn after a set time if no one engages, so don't wait too long once you spot one you want.
Tiers and difficulty
Like land-based Raid Bases, boats come in multiple tiers - easier ones have lighter NPC crews and simpler layouts; harder ones are well-defended with tougher NPCs and more valuable loot. Tier is shown on the map marker. Higher-tier boats are worth bringing a friend or two.
Locking and looting
Boat raids use the same locking rules as PVE land raids - the first team to engage (kill an NPC or destroy part of the boat structure) locks the content to their group. Players outside that group are blocked from looting. The lock expires if your group goes idle for too long, so stay engaged.
Completing a boat raid means clearing the crew and looting the onboard storage. Rewards are similar to land raids at the same difficulty - resources, components, and the usual PvE loot pool.
